Create Art and Learn About Science

GlassRoots provides unique, hands-on experiences students in grades 3 through 12. An immersive school visit ignites their imaginations and introduces them to glass art and the thrilling process of glassblowing!

Through glassmaking, students explore art, design, science, technology, history and culture. GlassRoots field trips promote critical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork, and align with the New Jersey State Student Learning Standards in Visual and Performing Arts and Science.

Using a culturally-responsive curriculum, our Teaching Artists deliver programs with care and compassion and begin each workshop with a safety introduction and demonstration.
