Free Glassmaking Course for Older Adults

Experience the magic of fire and glass amongst peers!

GlassRoots invites adults 55+ to explore the wonder, creativity and connection found in glass art in our new, free six-week class, The Magic of Glass. Participants will learn to shape molten glass, sculpt with flame and design luminous works of art in a supportive and inclusive studio environment. Guided by skilled teaching artists, they will discover the joy of learning new techniques, the satisfaction of self-expression and the deep sense of community that grows through shared creativity.

This program offers more than art—it offers purpose, cognitive engagement, and belonging. Designed to enhance cognitive, emotional and social well-being, this class will foster self-expression
while boosting confidence. The Magic of Glass will also promote connection and strengthen community bonds, as seniors share their stories while exploring their creativity.
