This Year’s Highlights

GlassRoots held its 2025 GlassBall, our largest fundraising event of the year, at the Montclair Art Museum on June 5th, 2025. The night was a celebration of the vibrant creativity and perseverance of our students and teachers and the magic of glass art. The evening started off with glassblowing demonstrations at our mobile hot shop in front of the museum and students from our Youth Entrepreneurial Spirit (YES) Program selling artwork they created over the spring semester during cocktail hour. This was followed by dinner, an exciting live auction and presentations from former students and our Sparking Change honorees.

Our GlassBall 2025 Honorees were Robinson Holloway, CEO of Arts 14C, John Schreiber, President and CEO of New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Roger Tucker III, former GlassRoots Board President and Director of Tucker Contemporary Art and Andy Toxtle, Visual Arts Teacher, North Star Academy.
