Karen is a development professional who has worked with arts & education organizations throughout her career. Her experience includes prospect research, grant writing, campaign planning & execution, gifts cultivation & stewardship, & events & volunteer management. Her previous positions include Director of Development at New Jersey SEEDS, Senior Consultant with Semple BIxel Associates, & Director of Programs with the American Academy in Rome. Karen holds a Master’s in Education from Harvard University and is a lifelong advocate for educational access and equity.
