Sandy Eldeiry

Sandy is a Teaching Artist & Commission Production Specialist at GlassRoots. She joined the team in September of 2023 after graduating with a Bachelor’s of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. Her acute awareness of the environmental impact associated with product design guides her practice, emphasizing the utilization of repurposed materials such as glass bottles.

In tandem with her responsibilities at GlassRoots, Sandy is designing & producing her own sustainable furniture. Currently acquiring skills in glass blowing, she aspires to integrate sustainability principles into hot shop processes. With a passion for making art accessible to all & a love of teaching, Sandy is very excited to call GlassRoots her professional home.
