Richard is a multidisciplinary visual artist & educator, based in Newark, New Jersey. Richard utilizes a variety of media to explore ideas surrounding personal identity, relationships, & social issues. For over nineteen years, Richard has developed his skills in glass, creating sculptural work & statement jewelry. As a teaching artist, Richard has empowered students of all ages to think creatively & realize new visions for their futures.

After completing the Newark Museum of Art’s Diversifying Art Museum Leadership Initiative, he has been committed to creating opportunities & spaces that make the arts accessible to all. Richard’s artwork has been exhibited at the Newark Museum of Art, Artfront Galleries, Paul Robeson Galleries, City Without Walls, & Penland Gallery.
