GlassBall 2026

GlassRoots held its 25th Anniversary GlassBall on Friday, June 5th, 2026. Again at the Montclair Art Museum, the evening began with a cocktail hour with glassblowing demonstrations and students from our Youth Entrepreneurial Spirit (YES) Program and our NextGen Glassblowing Apprentice Program promoting and selling their artistic creations. Guests were then invited downstairs, where the program began with GlassRoots alumni sharing milestones from GlassRoots’ accomplished 25-year history. 
 
The evening included a seated dinner, live and silent auctions, and the presentation of our annual Sparking Change awards to our honorees. This year’s honorees were Senator Cory Booker, Rutgers Business School and Richard Paz. We were also thrilled to host Central Ward Councilmember, Amina Bey, who delivered remarks honoring GlassRoots’ contribution to our community over the past 25 years and presented us with a congratulatory proclamation on behalf of the City of Newark Municipal Council. Many thanks to our wonderful supporters for helping us celebrate this proud 25th anniversary moment!
